Tasting Note
The 2018 Pinot Noir Clos Saint Landelin comes from a southwest exposure, and there is very little topsoil. The vines were planted in 1995 and 2000 with a mix of massal selections and ATVB selections fin and très fin. At the moment, a bit of smoke clouds a delicious scent of mossy forest floor and small red berries. The fruit is pure and scented. The palate is very spicy with pepper and a woodier savoriness. The tannins are very fine. Despite the hot vintage, the wine is cool with well- captured red fruit that has a most pleasant and mouth-watering tartness. Beautiful. Drink from 2023-2035.
