Domaine Denis Mortet, Chambertin Grand Cru 2019

Just a little touch of coconut. Dense purple, royal energy backed by good acidity, dense deep red fruit with a couple of blacker notes, the wood currently giving it a stricter framework which the second half of elevage will sort. Great tension and very long finish. Tasted by Jasper Morris in November 2020.
